Today I am finally done with my LRC for Arjac's Shieldbrothers. I've had this for like a year and it sat in a box for a long time because I was so frustrated with the tank body but someone at Warhammer Brookline finally helped me get it together. I think it came out really well.

This Dreadnought is one that I have not used much partly because I need a buddy for him, which I finally bought this week or last, I forget. So now I had a reason to touch him up again so that he can look decent, and he also looks much better. There's a lot of new gold on him and the red gems on him are also new.

Good stuff Tomas. The runes on that axe look crisp and the dark color/bright gold contrast looks as sharp on the LRC as it did on the wolfpedo

Went back to the Salamanders yesterday to assemble a Command Squad, so now I have another Captain with a Power Sword, flag bearer, Company Champion, a normal dude, a flamer guy and an Apothecary all put together. There's going to be some more assembly going on in the next couple of days or so as I have a Space Wolves Dreadnought to assemble and a Rhino chassis as well.

Today was a big ol' assembly day. 2 Assassins are now assembled, a Vindicare and a Culexus, and the last bit of my Dreadnought. He needed his Axe arm fit on properly and I had to get Adam at Warhammer Brookline to do it because the way it fits together baffled me completely. Fortunately, that all happened without too many hitches. One more model to completely assemble now before I can start painting again, which is the Rhino/Razorback that will be my first Salamanders transport vehicle.
Assembly Day, Yay

One full squad is now finished, yay! And in plenty of time to be ready for this coming weekend of Cadian adventures.

Today I finished a sergeant named Kar'gath Tycho to lead a squad of 10 total marines. Tycho wields a combi-weapon (I can flip between melta and flamer currently, may do something eventually with plasma but we'll see) and a master-crafted Thunder Hammer.

Edit: I decided I wanted someone to be able to hit hard at either end of the squad's I levels, so Vulkan gets the I5 end and Tycho the I1 end.

In progress: Vindicare and Culexus Assassin. Assembled, primed, and based. Unsure as yet if I'm going to decorate the edges around the scenery with anything. I might just leave it alone.

Hoo boy that was a lot of work. Finally finished Sandtiger's Power Sword and I'm happy with it. Took about 2.5 hours to do just the sword, and this is my first time ever trying to do an honest to god Power Sword as it is properly meant to be, with brushes instead of an airbrush. I should really buy an airbrush at some point. Also pictured are his Command Squad mates in various forms of Work In Progress, as well as the eventual Captain Sandtiger. I am particularly pleased with the banner. Forge World decals are no joke.
